i. About The Product

This device is designed based on the Volkswagen Passat ABS/EBD system and with an operating principle diagram to demonstrate operation of the system. The device applies to theoretical teaching and maintenance training of the chassis structure in secondary and senior vocational skill schools, normal education and training institutions. The device can be used for structure display and operation demonstration of the ABS/EBD system.

ii. Features

1. A real ABS/EBD system is used to illustrate the structure of the system.

2. A three-phase asynchronous motor drives rotation of the front and rear shafts, simulating running of the automobile. When an operator pushes down the brake pedal, the ABS/EBD system starts operating. The front and rear brake flaps keep rotating

slowly. The operator feels that the brake pedal is vibrating. In this way, the device demonstrates operation of the ABS/EBD system.

3. The training bench is made of advanced aluminum-plastic plate with characteristics of not less than 4mm thick, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, pollution resistance, fireproof, and moistureproof. Its surface are processed by special craft and spraying primer. Never fade color circuit diagram and working principal diagram are painted on the board whose surface coating with varnish. The trainees can learn and analyze the working principle of the control system by referencing the diagram and the real object.

4. The training bench is installed with detection terminals to detect electric signals, for example, resistance, voltage, current, and frequency, of pins of each sensor and electronic control unit (ECU).

5. The training bench is installed with six pressure gauges to display real-time hydraulic pressure of one master cylinder and four brake cylinders.

6. The training bench is installed with a fault indicator lamp and a diagnosis socket ,which can connect to automobile decoder to read fault codes checks ECU codes, reads and clears fault codes, and reads data streams, tests components, sets parameters, and conducts wave analysis on the ABS electrical control system.

7. The training bench’s base frame is made in steel and the surface is paint-coated. Self-retention wheels are installed to ensure that the bench is flexible, reliable and endurable.

8. Equipped with intelligent fault setting and appraisal system, include fault setting, troubleshooting and assessment functions etc.
